Manifolds and pipe assemblies: saddle cuts, tube sheets, heat exchangers — KZTM plant, Karaganda
Products — pipe assemblies

Manifolds and pipe assemblies with laser-cut branches

Manifolds, headers, distribution and collection pipework, tube sheets and heat exchangers. Saddle cuts and openings are made on a tube laser — the branch sits in the header with no fitting, and the weld is even and repeatable across the whole batch.

What we make

To the customer's drawings or to our sketch. Material — carbon and low-alloy steel; stainless by agreement.
01

Manifolds with saddle-cut branches

Header Ø57–350 mm with branches at 90° and at an angle. Cuts and openings by laser, welding on a 3D table.

02

Headers and distribution units

Supply and return headers for boiler houses, heat substations and cooling systems. Flanged or weld-end.

03

Tube sheets

For heat exchangers, boilers and air preheaters. Laser cutting of plate up to 40 mm, drilling up to Ø50 mm.

04

Heat exchangers and coils

Shell-and-tube and sectional units up to 2 t, coils made from tube.

05

Flanged nozzles and transitions

Flanged nozzles, reducers, elbows and tees drilled to your bolt pattern.

06

Tubular trusses and frames

Space structures from square and round tube: angled cuts, gap-free joints.

07

Pipe supports and hangers

Clamps, sliding and fixed supports, brackets to standard series or drawing.

08

Blanks for fabrication shops

Tube with ready cuts, openings and bevels — for assembly at your site.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Briefly about quotes, drawing formats and material. Other questions — in the FAQ block on the home page.
How do I get a cost estimate and how much does it cost?
The estimate is free. Send your drawing and a description of the task through the form on the site, via WhatsApp or to info@kztm.kz — an engineer will prepare a commercial offer with exact pricing and lead times from 24 hours on business days.
What formats do you accept drawings in?
2D drawings: DWG, DXF, PDF, as well as native CAD formats — IDW (Autodesk Inventor), CDW/FRW/SPW (KOMPAS-3D), SLDDRW (SolidWorks), DRW (CATIA). 3D models: STEP (.step, .stp), IGES (.iges, .igs), Parasolid (.x_t, .x_b), SAT (ACIS), as well as native ones — IPT/IAM (Inventor), SLDPRT/SLDASM (SolidWorks), CATPart/CATProduct (CATIA), m3d/a3d (KOMPAS-3D), PRT (NX, Creo). If you only have a paper sketch or a sample part, our design engineers will prepare the working drawing themselves.
Why is a laser saddle cut better than oxy-fuel or manual cutting?
The tube laser cuts the saddle to program with ±0.05 mm accuracy: the branch sits in the header with no gap, there is nothing to grind to fit, and the welder lays an even weld with a constant leg. Across a batch of ten manifolds every cut is identical, and assembly takes a fraction of the time.
